Katie joined ETCH in November 2024 after more than 25 years of experience in the chemical and oil and gas industries. Previously she was President, Hydrogen Energy & Mobility for Air Liquide North America. In that capacity, she guided Air Liquide’s investment in hydrogen across the United States and secured participation in six of the seven Department of Energy (DOE) Hydrogen Hubs, developed trans-national mobility partnerships, and commissioned a world-scale liquid hydrogen plant. For those efforts she was named to 2024 Hydrogen Economist’s Global Top 50 Women in Hydrogen.
Katie Currently serves on the board of Gevo, a renewable chemical and biofuels company and previously held senior leadership positions in strategic market development, business intelligence, and oilfield solutions. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Master of Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
