Chetan is the strategy director at Biofoundry Energy, a project development firm building capital projects based on solvents for storing hydrogen at ambient pressure and temperature. Previously, Chetan worked with Shell in technology advisory roles and has been a key contributor in framing and drafting the Net Zero Technology Mapping Report with the TLB and wider group of stakeholders. He has a diverse background spanning across upstream, maritime, mining, petrochemical, and downstream sectors. Chetan has a strong track record and passion for commercializing high-impact technologies into sustainable and growth businesses, which is more important than ever for the energy sector and transition towards Net Zero. Chetan holds an MSc in Marine Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and University of Glasgow.
