David Pearman is a detection research engineer with Element One. David has over 4 years of experience with hydrogen leak detection. While at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, David tested, evaluated, and compared many types of hydrogen sensors and leak detection technologies from low-detection-level sensors to various wide area monitors. He has also written multiple research papers on a variety of detection technologies and hydrogen emissions quantification. As an Element One researcher, David works very closely with Element One’s leak detection technology as well as working with industry partners to further improve the connection between research, industrial end use, and commercialization. He plans to continue to develop useful detection technologies and tighten the gap between research and industrial needs.
