- Leopoldo (“Polo”) Gomez is a Vice President in Citi’s Global Infrastructure Finance group.
- Leopoldo is an experienced structured capital advisor to strategic and financial sponsors in a wide range of sectors, including energy and power, transportation and mining
- Leopoldo is heavily involved in Citi’s clean energy capital raises, including active mandates with hydrogen, renewable transportation fuels, carbon capture and sequestration
- Leopoldo is proficient in execution across bank loans, private placements, public offerings, and direct infrastructure fund lending
- His experience includes structuring around credit issues arising from market and re-contracting risks, project-on-project and other considerations arising in new complex situations
- Leopoldo joined Citi in 2017 as an Investment Banking Associate
- Prior to joining Citi, Leopoldo practiced law in Mexico City at one of the top corporate law firms in the country, specializing in securities law and M&A, where he advised several publicly-listed corporations
