Maggie Field works at Clean Air Task Force (CATF) as a Hydrogen Hubs Manager, focusing in the western U.S. to lead CATF advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and technical analysis related to hydrogen hubs, zero-carbon fuels and community benefits. She also supports CATF’s national advocacy efforts focused on ensuring climate beneficial policies, and effective implementation of federal programs. Maggie works on a diverse set of projects related to climate beneficial hydrogen production and decarbonizing hard to abate end-uses (heavy-transport, ports, industry). She is a thought leader for CATF’s work in community benefits planning, evaluating the social and “non-energy” costs, needs and opportunities in the clean energy transition.
Maggie is a strategic engagement expert in the clean energy industry with deep experience designing and leading meetings and working groups across a broad range of stakeholder groups. This work often involves navigating complex discussions and sensitive stakeholder issues to build consensus on clean energy and decarbonization pathways. Prior to CATF, Maggie was at Strategen on the consulting team, working on decarbonization focused projects for industry and stage agency clients, and helping establish and lead a growing stakeholder engagement practice for the firm. Maggie also worked closely with the firm’s managed non-profit, Green Hydrogen Coalition, helping execute complex projects such as HyBuild Los Angeles, one of the first efforts in the country to model a scaled clean hydrogen ecosystem.
