Nabil is a Principal with the Climate-Aligned Industries Program at RMI focused on catalyzing the clean hydrogen economy. His work at RMI centers around providing strategic advisory services to accelerate industrial decarbonization projects and developing the international trade of H2-derived molecules. Nabil is an energy and finance industry professional with 15 years of experience in corporate strategy and the execution of large-scale infrastructure projects. He spent the majority of his career as an investment banker at Piper Sandler and BMO Capital markets structuring energy infrastructure transaction. This experience includes three first-of-a-kind projects in the clean energy economy: the first pre-paid solar electricity transaction in the US, a financing for the first facility for an innovative closed loop plastics recycling technology, and a public private-partnership for the first modular nuclear reactor in the US. Nabil was most recently the Department Manager of the Corporate Development group at Con Edison where he primarily focused on reformulating the company’s non-regulated clean energy business strategy and leading the development of the regulated utility’s low carbon fuel strategy. He holds an M.B.A from Columbia University and a B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University
