Tomeka leads the development and growth of bp’s hydrogen and carbon capture and storage business in the US.
Prior to this role, Tomeka was business advisor to the EVP Gas & Low Carbon Energy at bp and helped to establish the new low carbon energy business.
Tomeka has held various commercial and finance leadership roles across bp, including leading strategy and planning for the Lower 48 business and performance management for the western hemisphere. She has been with bp since 2006 and has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy industry.
Before joining bp, she worked in consulting with McKinsey & Company and Navigant Consulting where she specialized in supporting Energy companies on a variety of topics including business strategy, valuation, and organizational design.
She holds a master’s degree in business from Harvard University and bachelor’s degree in economics from Rice University.
